We offer free proxies because we’re honest people. But we also want you to know what you’re really using when you grab a random proxy from a GitHub list.
Free proxies can log everything you send
Some free proxy operators run a server specifically to collect your metadata — IPs, timestamps, message patterns. They’re not doing it for fun. They sell that data to advertisers, governments, or the highest bidder.
They could be honeypots
In some countries, intelligence agencies deliberately run free proxies to identify who’s using Telegram and what for. Your goal was to stay private. Instead you’ve just raised your hand in a room full of the wrong people.
They get blocked. Constantly.
