The Problem
Agencies Producing Hundreds of Monthly Articles Face an Operationally Impossible Manual Workload
Digital marketing agencies managing content for multiple clients need to perform SERP research, extract NLP keywords, write SEO-optimised articles, source images, add schema markup, schedule publishing, track live URLs, and report on content scores — repeating this process for every single article across every client. Scaling to hundreds of articles per month per agency was operationally impossible without automation.
Agencies also needed a way to produce genuinely differentiated, expert-sourced content at scale — not just AI rewrites of existing SERP results. And they needed to publish automatically to every CMS their clients used, with platform-specific HTML adaptation, without manual copy-paste.
Our Solution
Full Content Lifecycle Automation with SERP Intelligence, Agentic Journalist, and 10+ Platform Publishing
We built WriteWave as a Django 5 + Celery backend with a React 18 + TipTap frontend, structured as an agency multi-tenant SaaS.
The single-click article engine scrapes the top SERP competitors for a keyword (YAKE + NLTK NLP extraction, structural analysis: H1–H6 outline, word/heading/paragraph/image counts, tone detection, point of view), generates an optimised outline matched to target word count, produces full HTML content via GPT-4, generates AI images per section, injects internal links from sitemap crawl, adds external authoritative links (DoFollow/NoFollow), embeds YouTube videos, and scores the result (0–100) against NLP targets. Reading-level humanisation adjusts vocabulary and sentence complexity from Grade 5 through college graduate.
The Agentic Journalist creates VAPI phone call campaigns with a configurable AI knowledge base (company description, audience, topics to cover, topics to avoid). Call scheduling handles timezone support, retry logic for missed calls, and transcript/recording storage. Post-call, the pipeline transcribes the conversation and generates a fully published article automatically.
Business Profile articles hit Google Places API v1, download and smart-crop the business's Google Maps photo (WebP, 1280×426px), embed a Google Static Maps image, extract and render real Google reviews as styled blockquotes, and inject JSON-LD LocalBusiness schema with geo-coordinates and opening hours. All 10+ publishing integrations adapt HTML per platform — image handling, blockquote rendering, iframe sanitisation, and table styling are all platform-aware.
