A seismograph is a device used to measure and record seismic waves caused by earthquakes or other sources of ground motion. On the other hand, a seismogram is the graphical representation or record produced by a seismograph. It is a visual representation of the ground motion recorded by the seismograph. Seismograms typically display the amplitude (strength) and frequency (vibration rate) of seismic waves over time. They are used by scientists to analyze and study earthquakes, as well as to determine their magnitude and location.
